DAY 5 – BATU BULAN - PENGLIPURAN

After breakfast transfer to the village of Batu Bulan you will be introduced to the fine art of Batik painting.

​

After this interesting visit, we proceed to the eastern part of Bali, which is dominated by the towering Mount Agung (3,142 meters).

​

Built on one of the volcano’s slopes, the Besakih Temple Complex is the most important and sacred temple for the Balinese Hindu community. For this reason it is known as the “Mother Temple”.

​

At Bukit Jambul, we will stop for a refreshing view over the beautiful valley and the opportunity for lunch (not included).

​

On our way through the east of Bali you will discover the traditional village of Penglipuran. This village is unique for its different social community structure and layout, which dates back to the 16th century.

​

On our return we will pay a visit to the Hall of Justice called “Kerta Gosa” in Klungkung, the former capital of Bali.
 
DAY 6 -  UBUD ADVENTURE CYCLING

SOBEK Ubud Adventure Cycling, The Best way to see some of the famous Ubud rice fields and village life. Ubud cycling is a perfect way to enjoy the real Balinese villages with your family.

Trips start from Kadewatan Rafting Base Camp to Jukut Paku Village. A very safe ride with little traffic on the road, perfect with those without any cycling experience.

​

DAY 7 – JATILUWIH – GITGIT WATERFALL - BEDUGUL

Breakfast at hotel, then drive to visit Jatiluwih - a beautiful rice terrace unfolding from the mountain side to the coastal side, to places of interest to be visited in the west part of Bali.

​

Continue to Gitgit Waterfall that is surrounded by lush vegetation. Then drive to the coolest mountain resort of Bedugul, visit Ulun Danu Temple floating on its calm blue waters of Lake Beratan. Transfer to Nusa Dua for check in at the 5*Melia Bali. 

​

DAY 8 – UBUD – MENGWI – NUSA DUA

After breakfast we will drive to Mengwi, where the famous Taman Ayun Temple was built for The Prince of Tabanan in the early 17th century.

​

This important temple is surrounded by a large moat, signifying the world of the ocean. Continue our visit to the holy monkey forest of Alas Kedaton.

​

Save some space in your memory card for the spectacular Tanah Lot Temple. This temple is built on the top of a rock in the Indian Ocean, just a few hundred meters offshore.

​

Watch the rough sea as it crashes into the coast.

​

DAY 9 – NUSA PENIDA 

Breakfast and transfer to Sanur and proceed by boat to Nusa Penida island. 

​

Upon arrival at Nusa Penida continue by car/vehicle and visit Angels Billabong, Broken Beach with Arch, Kelingking Beach and Crystal Beach. Lunch will be provided enroute.

​

Afternoon, cross back to Sanur and back to your hotel in Nusa Dua.

​

DAY 10 – AYUNG RIVER RAFTING 

Breakfast and get picked up from your hotel in cool air-conditioned comfort and cruise through the rice paddies and sleepy villages of Bali.

Enjoy the views as you head through the charming village of Carang Sari and arrive at the stunning Ayung River Gorge to begin your white-water adventure.

The start-point itself is perched on the edge of this stunning locale, and as our professional and friendly guides equip you with international standard safety equipment, head down to the water’s edge for a full safety brief before heading out on the river.

​

Enjoy the thrill of the Class II & III rapids as our expert guides amaze you with their dexterity in steering you through winding rapids beneath breathtaking jungle canopies.

​

This tropical adventure breathes excitement as you splash and spin down the paradise river. Enjoy waterfalls, majestic scenery and answer the call of the wild as you travel around 10km through Bali’s best and safest rafting adventure.

 

DAY 11 – KECAK ULUWATU

Breakfast and transfer to Kecak Uluwatu. Enjoy a pleasant short ride along the hills of Bali’s southern peninsula.

​

This area, known as Bukit, offers a landscape and topography unequaled by any other regions of the island. Unlike the majority lush tropical country sides which owed their fertile soils to the volcanoes that dotted the central highlands, this arid terrain-formed by millennia of coral sedimentations is a world of its own.

​

Their beautiful-yet-wild beaches are heaven for surfers. In the corner of this peninsula, perched on a sheer cliff, is a highly venerated Uluwatu temple.

​

A performance of The Ramayana epic-based Kecak Dance with the majestic temple and sunset as its background, will give a climax to this memorable evening.

​

DAY 12 – NUSA DUA

Breakfast at hotel and free at leisure. Transfer to the airport for your flight back to Malta.

​

DAY 13 – MALTA

Arrival in Malta.
